I am interested in recording and preserving the Creole culture of New Orleans: its music, food, art, and architecture. I am also interested in the cultures of those countries that gave rise to Creole Culture, namely Spain, France, Germany and Italy. I also take an interest in the cultures and places where Lacadio Hearn/Koizumi Yakumo lived: Greece, Ireland, Cincinnati, New Orleans, Japan, Martinique.
